Below are their group responses:

1. What inspired you guys to play music?

Seeing all these other bands on stage and doing what they love made us want to be apart of that atmosphere, where we can be ourselves. Where we can go all out and not hold anything back and just have fun.

2. How has music changed you life?

It makes life a whole lot more interesting that, is for sure!
No matter what mood you are in there is something for you. It is really fascinating how far music has come. I honestly do not know where we would be without music.

3. What bands do you guys listen to and how has it shaped your music?

We are all pretty big fans of Woe Is Me, The Plot In You, My Ticket Home, Like Moths To Flames... etc. You can definitely hear the Like Moths To Flames/The Plot In You feel in our first song "Like Clockwork". It is just really "bouncy" and aggressive. In our intro "Sequences" you can hear the Woe, Is Me, feel to it. Just the programming with a quick breakdown and deep lyrics. Jordan and Justice mostly write the lyrics and we are mostly inspired by Woe, Is Me. Their lyrics really speak to us.

4. What advice do you guys have for people that want to pursue music as their career?

Just don't give up. Don't ever let someone tell you, you can't. Keep pushing forward with what you love. Music is expression. Express yourself and don't let other people get to you. I am sure many people don't like our music. That won't ever stop us or even slow us down in the slightest bit.

5. Where did you guys the idea for the name of your band?

Actually that is a funny story. Justice was kicking back with his mom and his mom was watching a soap opera, maybe "The Young & The Restless". During one scene a girl was dreaming about something. She was having a nightmare, but at the same time she was not. Something came up with her boyfriend, and somehow he came up with "Before The Dreamer" (haha).

6. What do you want your fans to know about you that they might not know already?

We are all real dudes. We stand up for what we believe in. We love you all for who you are and nothing can ever change that. No matter the race/religion/etc, you are you and we love you :)

7. What do you guys think when you are on stage?

Justice: It is a blessing being up there doing what you love. All these kids come out from anywhere and blowing off whatever plans they had prior to spend the time and money to come see us. It is a great feeling.

Jordan Scott: As Justice said, it is just a great feeling knowing people come out to see you. It is a great feeling being up on stage in front of friends and the people we love, doing what we love. In my opinion, its the best feeling ever. I would not trade it for the world.

Justin: I have never played a show, but if I did I would say that I would feel excited and really honored to have that opportunity.

Jordan Duffourc: I think about the song I am playing.

Before The Dreamer wants everyone, no matter their race, ethnicity, etc. to enjoy their music and have the chance to listen to it because my friends a legend is being born. Like their facebook page and check out this sick interview because my questions are so legit :)
