Interview with As It Is Written!!! ;)

Here are the questions I asked them and below are their interesting group responses:

1. What inspired you guys to play music?

Pretty much we have always played music. A few of us started back when we were 2 or 3. It is just always been a part of our life.

2. How has music changed your life?
Well, other than signing boobies.... Kidding ;). It has led us to meet a lot of new friends and see many cool new places.  It has definitely made us all brothers and given us stuff to do on the weekends.
 
3. What bands do you guys listen to and how have they shaped your music?
August Burns Red, Within the Ruins, The Human Abstract, Blink-182, Attila, The Crimson Armada, Norma Jean, For Today, Motionless In White, Frank Sinatra and a bunch of our friendly local bands.

As to how it has shaped our music, go listen to all those bands, then listen to us and see for yourself :)

4. What advice do you guys have for others that want to pursue in music as their career?
Do it for fun. Keep striving to find new stuff to play and if at first it is hard, don't give up. Be ready to go through band members, but don't let it be a setback. Plus, have fun.

5. Where did you guys get the idea for the name of your band?
Paul thought it was cool and so did everyone else. You can find it a lot in the Bible.

6. What do you want your fans to know about you that they might not know already?

We have the power to summon flamingos. Also, Josh's cup size is XL ;). He really wanted everyone to know!!

7. What is racing your mind before you go on stage?

It is generally concerning farting, poop, or similar things. Our vocalist is usually looking at different parts of the venue to jump off of. Other than that it is just the general feeling of being stoked to play.

As It Is Written is a very unique band because if you take the time to read the interview you will know that they are just not any ordinary band. They suprise me with the way they think, sing, and their attitude is truly one of a kind.
