Here are the questions I asked them and their responses are right below:
1. What inspired you guys to play music?
We all grew up with music as a part of our life. After going to countless concerts, watching tons of music videos, and seeing our idols connect with their fans we knew that we wanted to be able to give the feeling/connection with people that love music the way we do. We wanted to live a life where music is our #1 priority and being in a band does just that.
2. How has music changed your life?
Music is a huge part of all of our lives. We are all based around the music we play because it gives us structure and a sense of purpose in this chaotic world that we live in!!!
3. What bands do you guys listen to and how have they shaped your music?
Some bands that we listen to are: White Chapel, Woe, Is Me, Enter Shikari, Horse The Band, TDWP, Metallica, Flogging Molly, MGMT, Katy Perry, and Born of Osiris. This list could go one forever since we all listen to tons of different genres of music. All the bands we listen to helped shape us as musicians, but we all bring our own style/ideas to the table when it comes to writing our music.
4. What advice do you guys have for others that want to pursue music as their career?
We are still currently trying to case this dream of being in a world known band. To us the most important thing is to never give up or stop trying. If you want it, go for it. It is hard at times and can be difficult, but it is all worth it in the end when there is a crowd of people in front of you singing/dancing to your songs.
5. Where did you guys get the idea for the name of your band?
Long story short, when you have a little to much alcohol you might mistaken a closet for a bathroom. Come talk to us at a show and we can fill you in with all the details!!! :)
6. What do you want your fans to know about you guys that they might not know already?
We don't know what are fans want to know about us, so here are some unique qualities that each of us has. Tyler has a dent in his chest, Sean hates bananas with a burning passion, Tran spends most of his time playing Call of duty when hes not playing music,raping, or taking pictures of rainbows. Cliff is the "mom" of the group and he takes care of the rest of the band. Brandon looks like he is 15, but shockingly he is the oldest in the band. Ian cuts down trees and fixes boats. Each of us are not typlical musicians that some people might think we are.
7. What do you guys think about when you are on stage?
Brandon- "Man, I should have taken a shit before I got up here"
Tyler- " I'M SO EXCITED!!!!"
Sean- " I hope I plugged my wires in right"
Tran- "i hope the crowd responds positively to our set"
Cliff- "I need another monster"
Ian- "BOOOOOOOOOM"
Morgan's Accident is a group of guys that are unique in their own way and they express that in their music, so if you want to liste to music that opens your eyes to different posibilities then take a shot at them because they will love to hear what you guys think of them. They love their fans and so as a way to love them back, we all should like their bands facebook page and listen to their music once you do you wont want to stop.
