Interview with These Hearts

Here are the members of the band:

Here are the questions that I asked them and their group responses are right below:

 1. What inspired you guys to play music?

We would have to say the love of music in general.  Whether it's playing our instrument, listening to our favorite bands, or watching live bands perform. There is something so powerful about music that makes us addicted to it.  

2. How has music changed your live?

Well we are currently touring the country instead of going to college or working. Also, being in the music business has really helped us rely on God, we constantly have to deal with uncomfortable situations.

3. What bands do you guys listen to and how have they shaped your music?

Some of our favorite bands are Blink 182, Underoath, A Day To Remember, Rufio, Taking Back Sunday, Four Year Strong, Forever the Sickest Kids, and Chiodos.  Every band is influenced by their favorite artists, our sound is pretty much a combination of all of ours.
4. What advice do you guys have for others that want to pursue in music as their career?

It's a lot of work and it doesn't happen overnight!!!

5. Where did you guys get the idea for the name of your band?

Our name came from a previous name "These Hearts Turn Quickly," the meaning behind it is how humans are so quick to turn their hearts against God and he is so willing to except us back. After almost a completely new lineup change, we decided to shorten it to just "These Hearts."

6. What do you want your fans to know about you guys that they might not know already?

We honestly want to be there for them.  Whether it's online or at a show, we try to keep in touch with them as much as we can because we love every single one of them <3.

7. What is racing your mind before you guys go on stage?

Ryan-"Is it too late to go to the bathroom."

Daryl-"my foot hurts."

Kyle-"I hope there's free food after the show."

Tyler-"my right armpit smells worse than the left one."

Isaiah-"I hope the iPod is on stage."
These Hearts is a band that not only makes amazing music, but is down right cute. I mean have you seen their faces lol. No, but on a serious note they have inspired me and many others that music comes from the heart and not the wallets of fans. That is the reason they have so many likes on Facebook because they care about the fans as if you guys were their family!!!
