Interview with Keep Your Fingers Crossed!!!!

Here are the questions I asked them and their group responses are right below:

1. What inspired you guy to play music?

What inspired us was the passion that we have towards music. We all grew up listening to blink 182 and Fall Out Boy. So we wanted to have something that great in our band and to joke around in a job is what fufilling our dreams is all about.

2. How has music changed your life?

Music has made us sane and it is the only thing we have to look forward too everyday of our lives. We get up in the morning and listen to music. Are lives revolve around music and we love it that way.

3. What bands do you guys listen to and how have they shaped your music?

We all grew up to Blink 182, Good Charlotte, and Simple plan. As times changed, music changed and go into different genres, which is now called Easycore Pop punk. It has changed up in the years because starting off we grew into punk, then later growing into melodic breakdowns and upbeat versus. It is tons of fun just doing what we love to do!!!

4. What advice do you guys have for others that want to pursue in music as their career?

Dont stop, keep chasing your dreams. Put everything you got towards it because you only have one life to live!!! 

5. Where did you guys get the idea for the name of your band?

Well, Erick(guitarist) was living in Texas at the time and got a hold of Tyler(vocals/guitarist) and 3-wayed John(drums) into a phone call and was thinking of ideas of band names. We all disagreed with each other for the whole time and Tyler said "well guys keep your fingers crossed and we will think of something"!!!!

6. What do you guys want your fans to know about you that they might not know already?

You know how you stumble on to new music and it quickly becomes the only music you listen to because you enjoy it so much. You never seen the band live, never talked to them or experienced who they are. So when given the opportunity to see them live and in person there is a weird feeling as you know the band as music and not human beings. We want our fans to know us as people and not just music. We wanna be able to talk to everyone and get to know everyone that likes us for who we are.

7. What are you guys thinking about when you are on stage?

Erick " Man I hope I get laid after this."

Tyler " I hope it is memorable for the people who come"

John " Lets get the show rocking"

Aj " I hope I dont screw up (haha)"
